India gives aid to family of Phuket terror victim in Mumbai

PATONG, PHUKET: The Indian embassy yesterday presented additional financial assistance to surviving relatives of Jirachat Kanmanee, the Phuket native killed in the terrorist attacks in Mumbai in November 2008.

Ms Jirachat was one of six Thais working as spa therapists at the Banyan Tree spa in the Trident Oberoi Hotel in Mumbai when the terrorists broke in and opened fire. She died of a bullet wound to the head.

Ms Jirachat was the only Thai casualty of the attacks that killed 184 people, including 26 foreigners from 14 different countries, according to Indian government figures. Continue reading

Man becomes dinner dogs�

PHITSANULOK: A man who lived in a log cabin on a farm in Phitsanulok fruit falls to his death and was half eaten by dogs 20 he kept to maintain orchards.

When the villagers living nearby noticed that may Khongthong, 66, wasn?t and watering its fruit as usual on February 25, they called for him but did heard no response.

Col Tulawut, said Mr. may probably fainted and fell from the log-cabin to the ground.

After his dogs hunger this blood, they began to eat him. When the police arrived on the scene, the animals had eaten the flesh in the broad face of Mr. Mai?s and the skull and stripped the flesh off the coast of his right arm of his fingers on his shoulder.

Pieces had also taken out of his left thigh and his skeleton was visible in several places.

Death of Mr Mai?s has caused many pontoon in the village of Baan Samtoey, with many residents refusing to leave their dogs fear that they will close the eater of men of Mr. Mai?s farm dogs.
